Suspicious Buyers

• ⚠️ Wants to pay outside platform
• ⚠️ Asks for personal contact info
• ⚠️ Overpays and requests refund
• ⚠️ Shipping address doesn't match account

Common Scams

Payment Outside Platform

"Send money to my bank account for discount"

Never pay outside FashionLife. You lose buyer protection.

Fake Verification

"Click this link to verify your account"

FashionLife never asks for passwords via messages.

Overpayment Scam

"I accidentally paid extra, please refund the difference"

The original payment will bounce. Never refund excess.

Counterfeit Products

"Authentic designer bag at 80% off"

Research sellers. Report suspected counterfeits.

How to Stay Safe

For Buyers

• Check seller ratings and reviews
• Read product descriptions carefully
• Use FashionLife checkout only
• Keep all communication in-app
• Report suspicious activity

For Sellers

• Verify unusual orders
• Don't ship before payment clears
• Document everything with photos
• Use tracked shipping always
• Report suspicious buyers

What to Do If Scammed

1. **Stop all communication** with the scammer
2. **Gather evidence** (screenshots, messages)
3. **Report to FashionLife** via Help > Report
4. **Contact your bank** if you paid outside platform
5. **File police report** if significant loss

Reporting

To report suspicious activity:

1. Tap the **...** menu on profile/listing
2. Select **Report**
3. Choose reason
4. Add details and evidence
5. Submit

We review all reports within 24 hours.
